Lisa Snow Lady
Seattle native Lisa Snow Lady’s acrylic paintings and collages inspired by her surroundings portray beauty found in everyday spaces. She uses her colorful palette to celebrate the ordinary with themes of botanic gardens, interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. Architectural elements are often featured in her work creating a backdrop for the play of light and shadow.
Lisa has a BFA in Painting and a BA in Art History from the University of Washington, and a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Edmonds College. While she has many artistic influences, Vermeer, Bonnard, Vuillard, and Diebenkorn are among her favorites for their color-sensitive palettes and exceptional use of design.
Lisa’s artwork has been widely shown in regional and national galleries. Swedish Medical Center acquired 25 paintings of her pieces and the University of Washington Medical Center, Evergreen Medical Center, and Overlake Hospital have Lisa’s work in their collections. In 2021 Lisa was awarded the SOLA award through Artist Trust for her strong dedication to her art career.
